Anyone know if Comenity Childrens Place CLI are soft or hard pulls... been sifting through this thread, it goes on for days. Am I the only Mama with the Comenity card here? :-(. Curious, got the card in Jan, got an auto-CLI of $100 back in May. Curious if I should hit the CLI button but afraid of risking a dent in my already low Fico Scores if it IS a Hard Pull and I get denied.
I shop here often and love the rewards so its the card I actually would love to get the increase on.

@ocheosa thank you for posting...I had no idea. You saved me from purchasing on my card, sad to lose this card.

@GApeachy yeah, it really sucks ! In brief google review I've seen mentions of cli buttons disappearing, billing issues, problems with website, awful customer service. All the feedback makes me very nervous about what's been happening with overstock over the past months. Since wayfair (like overstock) is online I'm hoping the issue is with comenity, not the retailer and some bank will step in to take over the accounts.

I noticed on the other thread link that you provided that some posters got the secure message for closing but some, like dh and myself, did not. Now I'm wondering if this is like what happened with HSN Comenity----->Synchrony. Some will transfer to a new Servicer and some will not. It took a couple of months iirc to get the message that my account was picked up by Synchrony. I hope that's the case here.
I can't find any news about Comenity and Wayfair splitting ways.

I was thinking this. Nothing in search for cutting ties with Comenity. Nothing about talks with other lenders. This was kept quiet.
The Synch loss of Walmart leaked months before.

I just checked the last sec filing and couldn't find anything either but with big changes you tend to have to go back a bit and I don't have the time right now. Couldn't find much other than what I mentioned on google. It may be just as you've theorized, splitting off a segment of cardholders but I guess we'll all find out soon enough. They definitely released it like a friday bad news dump.
@blindambition it's weird. One month notice? No news, sporadic secured messages, apply for Wayfair card with offer still available.
