Re: Comenity CLI HP/SP Data Points

HARD PULL DP's

Ds- The Children's Place got popped with a hp for a $500 cli.

What's different and perhaps other reasons for the hp:

1. New Address

2. New Job

3. Higher Income

4. 1 stmt cut in August

5. 0 spend Sept., Oct., Nov.

SL: $500

CL: $1250 upon creating online acct.

New CL: $1750

Hope this helps.

Re: Comenity CLI HP/SP Data Points

Card in question - Caesars Rewards Visa
Opened January 17, 2020 via HP Cold App
Existing CLI - $1,800
Date of CLI - November 20, 2020
Amount of CLI - $800 SP

New CL - $2,600

So far, both requested CLI increases have been SP. The first was around my 6th statement, and the newest CLI was at the 4 months + 1 day mark. I'll pull the trigger again on March 21, 2021.

Re: Comenity CLI HP/SP Data Points

Interesting on the HP @GApeachy , especially with the limit that low. If you recall way back when this thread began it looked like CLIs were SP possibly up to a certain fairly large dollar figure. You're likely correct on your reasoning with the moving parts on DS's profile...provided all of that has been communicated to the bureaus.

I double checked his EQ via CK and they have his new address.  Not sure about the employment part as he still holds both jobs but the income increased and that could have triggered the credit check, esp if the employment part remained the same as far as Comenity knows. Idk, but yeah, a lot of changes for a thin, young file in 3 month relationship.

Re: Comenity CLI HP/SP Data Points

Agree that it's a lot of change and that may well be what prompted a HP (not that they get any more info that way than a SP but whatever).

Also, the verbiage tricked me.  I didn't think it looked or read any different from all of the other sp cli requests.  I didn't know he got a hp until ck notified via email.

That's great!  Congrats on this card...isn't it the Total Rewards?  Idk why they just don't call it Ceasar's.  It's neat that your first cli was at 6 months and the second 4 months.  Did you not ask for your first cli at 4 months?  Or did you?

I ask because I got my first at four months.

Dh got his first at six months.

Others get it at six months initially and then every four months thereafter.....kinda interesting; kinda not.  Dp's are dp's.

Yes, I did ask for my first at 4 months. I received a message about them waiting to see how I used my available credit before they would extend my credit line. This inquiry was also a SP.

Perfect, thanks for the dp's.  Onward and upward.
