I have had my card for 10 months and no CLI I am starting to be a little irritated.
Anyway, I always get the "a letter will be sent in the mail notice". Trouble is I have not received any of the denial letters in 5ish months. I press the button every month so they owe me some denial letters and explanations.
I tried secure messaging to express my concern and every message is sent back with the same generic if you want a credit limit increase you need to talk to a specialist but first consent to have your credit pulled. I just want my flimflamming denial letters.
I still have not gotten my PayPal Mastercard denial letter so maybe someone is snatching part of my mail, however, I think they would snatch the new credit card coming in the mail before they would take a denial letter.
I think they finally got upset enough with me bothering them. They secure messaged me the denial letter.
It said my account was opened recently so they were unwilling to increase my limit. I replied how long is it before an account is not new and they did not respond. I have had the account for 10months so not exactly new.
I too haven't been receiving denial letters. Comenity is being weird lately, I was getting increases on a regular basis and it's now been at least 5 months. I get denied every time. I do use them, just not frequently. I think they're mad at me.
After you finally get your denial letter, tell them to go swim up the Denial. Brump bump...
How many comenity cards do you have?
I only have one (toyota visa) and in my notes i have put (no more comenity cards) as i have read they are fussy.
However I received a second CLI after 6 mo then a third 4 mo later a few days ago.
I have had the card for 7 years, but only use it maybe 2 mo out of the year for auto inspections.
if at 12mo no CLI then something is fishy for their systems
I've also had issues with then lately. I've had 5 Comenity cards for almost a year and a half, I paid 3 of them completely off and have a balance being carried on 2 of them. I ALWAYS got a CLI monthly, until this month. I got a 10 day notice, and in the mail I got a denial first stating on one card they just gave me a CLI (over 30 days ago mind you), and then another stating that they weren't able to give me an increase due to me not having a mortgage on my credit with payment history, and a BK on my record (which I have, from before I opened the cards with them)... SO weird.
