@Anonymous wrote:How often/soon after getting a Comenity card do you generally do CLI requests?
I generally do every 3 months and it hasn't been an issue until now.
I believe that CM7 is referring to the schedule for Comenity Visas and Mastercards. The store cards can run on different and varied timelines for CLI.
@Anonymous wrote:CM7, my Total Rewards Visa will only do it at 4 months + 4 day intervals - possibly try that?
Seems silly to have to wait a few extra days, I know, but it seems to work for me. Maybe even wait until the 4 months + 6 days mark to give it a little extra wiggle room.
Thanks humuhumun...
It may just be that it takes some additional days this time? A delay is happened before like that on JCREW a few times but that was a store card and it was expected from time to time.
But you are right, this involves bankcard VISA and i'll give it some additional time since this is a new business week.
Thanks for sharing your advice on this. As we get ready to close in on another new year it's always a practice of mine to make positive changes with the card lineup where it might fit best.

Happy to help if I can, CM7. This has been my CLI schedule with Total Rewards Visa, for reference:
Card is at $19,200 CL now and opened in 7/2015. The progression:
2k CLI on 11/16/2015
$1,200 CLI on 3/18/2016
$2,500 CLI on 7/20/2016
I'm due for another one at end of November and will keep you posted as to how that goes. It's been 4 months + 4 days consistently for me, and I've gotten denied at the 4 month + 1 day mark in the past, so I understand your frustration.
Hang in there, my friend. Let's hope that Comenity is not getting weird again (as if they were ever normal, ha ha) ![]()

No biggie ![]()
It's easily overlooked sometimes and besides, each card type as well as the card lender have their own ways of setting schedules, etc to what works best for them just like we do with our expectations. from them
I just tried on my NY and Company (retail) and got the we are reviewing and will let you know in 7-10 days. My acct was opened in July '16
CM7 I posted about this also last week, also. I get that on all my cards but the Overstock card. So not just my Modells MVP Visa. My last increase was on July 7, 2016 so it has been 4 months and 7 days so far. Not sure what is going on.
I'm with you if they are not going to grow, I doubt I will keep them around long term.
My Wayfair $6300 and Express $3060 was getting a increase every 31 days. "Robo lady"
I tried a few weeks ago, for my regular increases got the 7 to 10 day. Keeps doing it. Online or call.
Hope their not changing some policies? 😞
My Total Rewards card has been stuck at $25k form12 months. I guess I have reached a limit with them ..lol
