With a BK on file it is an automatic denial. I found out the hard way. They are not easy to get and now it  seems they are going to be harder to get based on the posts from several people whose accounts have been closed.

Ok good to know.  Is there a time lapse between the BK and when the will approve or for as long as it on your report?

I applied 6 years after filing BK and every time it was a no. So I'm going to say it is a no go as long as the BK its on your report. I'm not sure if others have had any luck.

Re: Comenity backed VISA's

I have a Comenity backed Visa with a BK. It's a Sportsman's Guide Visa. There are others around here who have other various Visas with Comenity, who have BK as well.

I got turned down for it last month; they pulled EQ, where I had a score of around 685 at the time.
