I have been trying to get a credit limit increase on my Express card. Comenity keeps denying it saying cannot verify credit. Now i applied for Kay Jewellers credit card and was denied for the same reason. The letter said it cannot verify address, birthday, credit. But it did pull my Equifax report. So not sure what is going on. If i call Express/Comenity they say scripted things and seems have no idea. Did anyone here ever experience this? Any help appreciated.

I recommend pulling your EQ report and comparing your personal information on it to the information Comenity has. There must be some discrepancy, even if it's an incorrect letter in your name. That's where you should start. Due to Comenity's history of shutting down accounts, I would do this ASAP so as to ensure no AA on your Express card.

OP, in addition to the above, keep in mind that Comenity also tends to use SageStream as another (CR) resource besides EQ. So, if there's any slight discrepancies between both, that's likely the issue.
