Does anyone know how Cominety back compares to synchrony bank as far as credit card approvals are they as open and lienent ?
In my case with a BK reporting Synchrony has been more willing to extend credit than Comenity.
In my case i have 0 baddies o late payments but a boatload of HP's on all 3B however i have 6 cards with Synch 2 with Cap 1 and 1 with Credit 1 also a Personal loan with a bank not sure how cominety will look at all that
yes they have a lot more cards than Synch but i have not applied for any mainly because i have way to many inquires now on all 3B and i am going to attempt a trip in the garden for a while. I acheived my goal of obtaining over 12K of credit in one year, actually took me 8 months but thats because i went on a SYNCH bank app spree getting 4 cards in the same week LOL
They do not come close to Synchrony when it comes to being able to recon credit lines, or approvals, in general. They also seem to take way more AAs and do more CLDs than Sync.
Comenity also operates some of their cards under Comenity Capital Bank instead of just Comenity, I guess its supposed to be a bit more fancy lol. Synch is just Synch lol.
I couldn't agree more every time i have called customer service they fix any errors and actually sent me a letter regarding my Ebay Master Card saying they didn't give me the best rate offer and increased me from an inital $250 temporary CL to $3000.00 with a lower interest rate. I do also like Synch because they primarily pull TU which for some odd reason is always my highest score of the 3B
From what i have heard on the news Synch was formerly GE Capital and since GE sold all their assets Synch is now one of the largest CC lenders in the industry I have nothing bad to say about them, their one of a few who give CC's to people with less the superior credit on top of what i think are generous CL's. However I just got approved for the new Stash Visa and I'm calling it quits for a while I think I have to many cards with them
