No credit card required

I have tried CLI requests online with no response at all. Same screen returns after inputting income. Wanted to try auto CLI increase through telephone but I can't seem to navigate through the automated system without getting switched to customer service agent.
Abercrombie and VS help needed. Could someone please walk me through the auto telephone system to get CLI?
Thanks
I'm having the exact same thing happening to me! Can't do cli online or automated phone system. Called in asked why, they told me because of a fraud alert on my report. Called credit bureau and looked at a copy of my report. No fraud alert. Never has been one. The rep from experian went back a year. Comenity is still saying there is a fraud alert and nothing they can do! Complete incompetence on their part. If this doesn't get settled I'll be cancelling cards. Good luck but chances are they have you marked for a credit report fraud alert. Keep me updated.
Do not any fraud alerts on reports. If I did, I would not have acquired the cards through SCT.
Personally, I think because the accounts are new and the fico scoring is too low.....
I read alot of other people get huge CLI and multiples, even when opening the new account. Try looking at their FICO scores. Many are in the 680 to 750 ranges.
I will try again during a business day for the automated telephone CLI.
When the phone answers and it says what can I help you with?: say "Credit Line Increase"
"Sure, I can help you with that, but first I will need to get some account information" and it will ask for the last 4 of your social.
Then it will ask for your income
then it will say you currently have XX limit, "Are you requesting a specific credit limit?" SAY NO!
then it will come back in a couple seconds with either "I'm sorry and we will send you letter or Congrats, you have been approved for xxx, anything else today?
If you get congrats message, then say "Credit line increase" when it asks if anything else and repeat the steps like your doing it for the first time.
Both VS and Abercrombie though are pretty much hard and fast 9 month open store cards by comenity before a CLI but you can always still try.
Thanks....I suppose I will have to wait 9 months to ask for a CLI.
How does everyone else get CLI after getting an account though the SCT?
Called and they told me no dice, told me to call back in 9 months....womp, womp, womp.
I was getting told the same thing, about there being a fraud alert and the screen going back. I didn't have a FA on Experian, I do have one on Equifax. I put a temp one on Experian to add my phone #, which is what they need. You can lift this alert. In about 3-5 days they will call you at the phone # on your report and ask you if you initiated the CLI and they will process it. I was just past my 9 months on Loft and did this and it was approved for a CLI over the phone. It is not doing this because your FICO is too low. Do you have a Fraud alert on any bureau?

So does the phone system give different results than online requests?
