Why did I come into this thread!? I applied for membership and was instantly approved. I also applied for a cc 😳. I received the 2-3 biz days message. Let's see what they say. I am going to try and patiently wait. Now I must stay in the garden no matter what happens here!
You too
Good luck

#MyLife
Second time I've left the garden in like...a week.
Is there any reason why I wasnt instantly approved for the Savings account?
Lol, its a darn savings account.
@AvadaKedavra wrote:btw as others have mentioned, I got two SPs on EX.
Did you apply for to open your account AND for the CC in the same day? I'm approved as a member but I was wondering if it may any difference to wait until my transfer to my new checking account is done?
Should I just go for it?

Yeah...like a couple of hours apart from eachother.
I'm thinking of apping only for the (potential) $10K+ limit
(But knowing my luck they'll probably give me something like a $2K limit.)

You get approved for this crazy limit. They send you the docs to sign electronically. They get the docs back, and send them to underwriting again. They manually review the file to make sure everything is on the up and up. They decrease your limit significantly. Send the order in. Card gets made and cut. You find out your new limit when you get the card in the mail.
Has anyone received their card in the mail?
I got with NASA before this new rush hit and I can confirm that it's all legit. Once you go from "Instant Approved" to "Instant Approved Funded", it's a wrap. You'll get your card within 10 days, or at least I did. Been using my card every day since I got it 3 months ago.
It's really the only card that I keep in my wallet, besides my US Bank debit card for when I need cash. AND they send you Balance Transfer "For Life" checks that you can send to anyone at a 7.9%APR. you can even drop one in your bank account.
NASA has proven to be great, and whenever I call, I get the same nice CSR who is always helpful. I wish they did JUMBO Home mortgages, I would be all over that in the next year.
+1. I got mine in March 2014. I requested 5k and was approved for that and received card with 5k. Not a lot like these 20-30k but they did what they said they would do in my case. Now I'm one of those asking for a cli

I wonder if anyone has been flat out denied for the cc? Seems like everyone who has applied for cc either got instant approval or the 2-3 day message.
There are people on this forum who've been denied. One person has the same stats I do, and I was approved - with a HP.
There are people on this forum who were approved and then denied during the second stage of review.
I'm telling you, auto approval doesn't mean you're in for good.
