I wonder if anyone has been flat out denied for the cc? Seems like everyone who has applied for cc either got instant approval or the 2-3 day message.

There has been, I've read quite a few that were instantly denied.  Recent bankruptcy and unpaid collections/judgements seem to be the reason.

Ooopsie my post went blank on mobile device. So, I'm curious, what happens to applications that go from Pending to Incomplete?

I submitted one that went from pending to incomplete and then denied.  I called and the csr said someone should have called me for additional information, but no one did.

Oh no ...another duck card fever, but I'm staying away from this one . Good luck to you all!

How many times does this need to be mentioned in these threads?  Seriously it was old last week and it continues to be brought up every 5 posts and does nothing to contribute to the discussion of Nasa.

As an individual that was released from OCCU, I was fuming.  But at the end of the day, they had every right to cut me loose and I had ZERO understanding of what OCCU was when I app'd.  Nasa can at least put their money where it counts - and has it to back up a flood of new members.  This board represents maybe 2% of their goal.  They're advertising during NFL games for pete's sake.

Even with Nasa, I took the chance and for now it worked out.  If it doesn't, I will just have to accept the consequences all over again.  Good luck to you as well.

An Oregon credit union had a similar deal about a year ago with great starting CLs, there was a great rush from myFICO, then they cancelled nearly everyone's accounts who didn't live in their coverage area. I don't think this will happen with NASA, however, as they're much larger. Just look up the Duck Card on these boards for more info.

Re: Consider NASA...questions

This is very enticing, but as much as I'm tempted, I'm waiting for my 61st day with AMEX, which comes in three weeks. I don't want to risk the HP. Plus, it's worth waiting because what if they're just softing people when they app, and then do a HP a couple of days later? Is that possible?

Re: Consider NASA...questions

Also put in for a PLOC at $10k, figured I might as well, might be a HP but if I get in with a crazy amount it's worth it!

@tony

Start reading the other threads, they are pulling approvals, not everyone, but they stopped handing out the crazy limits.

Pulling membership approvals? I'll take a gander around the forum for this information!
