Re: How long can NASA remain in orbit

huh? what thread? what did I miss?

There was a CU some months ago  that was extending all kinds of CL's and issuing cards that didn't work.  A lot of folks (but  not me...was denied) got high CL with low scores.  It was sickening to see it all fall apart.  People thinking they had 20K CL ending up having them withdrawn, reduced or even cancelled.  Some of the "elders" here have more info but that's basically what happened.  It was called the "duck card"..............just hope this rocket doesn't fly off course and crash and burn.

Hope everything is on the up & up also.......but it's a little scary seeing folks getting approved then getting declined.  Never seen that happen with other lenders, at least not on such a frequent basis.  Reading through the many threads on NASA though you see this happening a lot.

Got my approval today for 20K......only got the Classic version though with no rewardsSmiley Sad  Didn't think I would get approved for anything because of inquiries.  The CL's people have been receiving are unreal with low to mediocre scores.  Hope this doesn't turn out to be another "duck card" and they start rescinding CL's when folks get their cards and start using them.

Congratulations on your approval! Thanks for sharing. Smiley Happy

Wow, just read that thread... amazing how they can just "disown" customers like that. Hopefully FML has learned to be patient? Wonder what his score is......... :nosey:

Never bought this NASA thing, but even I am surprised.  You mean they approved you and then declined you... just like that?  They didn't at least come on with a counteroffer, like on review we can't give you 20k, but can give you 10k or 5k?  Nothing like that?  That would make more sense.  Or are some of you just set on getting 20k or nothing, and are rejecting other offers?

Re: How long can NASA remain in orbit

I'm sorry for the bad news!  Even though the computer can approve you, it is always subject to verification and underwriting.  This doesn't make them bad, just prudent.  I for one can tell you it is legit.  NASA is a very large credit union, one of the largest in the nation, even though it does seem they are giving larger than usual CLs for those who are qualified.
