Huh, really? DCU definitely didn't work like that! Lol Do they counter offer what you ask for on PLOC and CC?
Yes, they countered me with my PLOC. Asked for $25k got countered at $5k.

Exactly what I did. There was one HP on Experian though. I don't know if I would have gotten it with a SP if I tried for Membership first? My responses were Instant Approved/Ready to Fund/Funded. It went to "Funded" soon after I signed the two electronic forms they sent.
Ok, so should we ask for 25k then? 5k is plenty, we just want to have it as a fall back. Just curious if its a Credit Solutions type scenario, shoot for the sky and wait for the counter.

If you have an application in progress, ithe status seems to go from referred -->pending-->approved/denied. The consensus seems to be if you get a email seeking ID or address info, you will be approved. They report NASA to be BK friendly of the BK is over 24 mos, with no baddies. They don't seem to be too INQ sensitive.
They want 24 months of history out of bk not 24 months out of discharge

Except by doing the membership first, people seem to be getting approved without a HP. If you app for the card first (without being a member) people seem to always get a HP.
I got approved for membership first, then approved for VISA and PLOC, no HPs, just SPs on Experian.

How are you checking soft pulls from Experian? The dispute method? I have the experian service and when I pull reports, it only shows hard pulls. Are you assuming it was a SP since no HP appeared on EX? Thanks
^I usually will backdoor the CRA via the denied credit method if I need SP info. Can't do it too often or else Experian will lock you out.
