@Jlu wrote:Perhaps this is looking too much in to coincidences, but it's interesting to note that this generosity at NASAFCU has coincided with the landmark deal between NASA, Boeing & SpaceX. For the first time NASA has handed over the reigns from government to commercially-run spaceflight. These contracts were worth $6.8B - so perhaps NASA is now flush with cash and needs to put it to work.
And myfico members + credit boards will be more than happy to help them.

Don't forget CCF, and "Pages"
I guess I don't get around so much. Think I MIGHT have seen ccf occasionally via google, don't know "pages". This is the best of them anyways.
We're not the only ponds in the world of credit....NASA's swamped, and running out of steam by now.
Fuel, you mean Fuel
Gives away my age, huh?
alive during the moon landing were we?

I was declined for a cc. I am not upset. I knew I shouldn't have applied but since it was a SP, I applied. I will garden all of my new accounts and apply again at a later time. I also will keep the savings account.
I'm still PENDING for membership. At least you're a member. LOL!

Yep, I don't think they're even in the top 100.
Prior to this membership drive, I think they only had around 90,000 members. NASA is about the size of OCCU (issuer of the infamous Duck and Beaver cards).
I keep hearing people say that Nasa FCU is one of the biggest credit unions in the county. It's really not true.

Wow, mine acts small time, but it's number 10 by membership, and number 18 by assets.
Just a heads up, their installment loans (secured) have the greatest rates, but the CC rewards SUCK. And their website leaves a lot for desirability (but paying you cc is the easiest I've seen, if you have account, can even pay pending or non-existent charges).
Hello everyone,
So I would like to know your thoughts. Currently have all reports frozen and decided that I would like to get on the NASA wagon. Appled for memebership was referred then said pending. They messaged me to day asking me to take the freeze off so they continue with the processing via experian. My question is do you think I should? My scores are not high (havent updated via MY Fico in about 2 months) and I doubt I would get approved for their cc anyway since I just got a brand new shiny collection last month. (currently disputing) Have been in the garden for about 3 months.
Thanks in advance!
