Re: Consider NASA...questions

Ugh. I fell to temptation. App'd for the CC. Now I'm kicking myself. PENDING. Was a SP. Just took two HP from Amex this week. Hoping it doesn't fall into yet another HP. And my poor AAoA. I wanted to nurture you. Bad. bad. bad.

Why did I fall? Boo me! Smiley Mad

You should be able to cancel the application request.  If you have the membership profile established, just send them a SM.  Optionally, call them or use the chat feature to get ahold of a live person to have them withdraw your application.  Since you confirmed it was SP, then it should be no issue.

Re: Consider NASA...questions

You're killing me, NASA.

They denied my savings account. After a week of pending status and me sending them the same 2 documents they repeatedly kept asking for 3 times... they denied me. They said they couldn't verify my identity.

I like NFCU better anyway Woman Mad.    Smiley Happy

Denied a savings account? Who does that? Never heard of such a thing.

Re: Consider NASA...questions

My membership application is still PENDING.  I submitted a week ago.  I want to cancel it, that's way too long for a membership application.  I've gotten no emails, no requests for documentation, nothing.  It's as though no one knows it's even there.  I tried using the chat feature, no response.  Sent a SM, now waiting to see if anything happens.  I'll likely have to call today.  Even though NASA has more branches closer to me and more ATM options, looks like NFCU will be who I'll go with.

Re: Consider NASA...questions

It took me 3 days to get membership (Friday - Tuesday). It was in pending status all this time, they did ask for DL, SSN and Utility bill on Monday. Applied for Credit card yesterday and now that's sitting in Referred status...

From my 9/10/14 report.  I actually had credit when i was 18 with USAF but I never got it to show up.  I believe that would have helped me tremedously.  I also made mistakes like closing accounts in good standing.  I wasn't on the forums back then, so Ignorance was abound.

@Anonymous Ameriprise World Elite MasterCard is/was my highest CL @ 10.5k.  However, I will now go through and request CLIs.
