This was the first CU I joined, way back when I didin't know anything about CU's, which was all of six months ago! Heard a radio ad for them last week-I think it's the first time I've heard an ad for a credit union.
The membership process took way too long with me having to email proof of my existance and location, and at least two phone calls. All I was trying to do was join-not asking for any credit product. This thread confirms my initial vibe on this one. Haven't done anything with the account and wish I hadn't wasted a hard TU pull on it. Didn't know they would do that for memebership at the time, but I was pretty ignorant of these matters. Reading thousands of messages has cured that .
