@Anonymous, chill out, guy.
Mods will go medieval on you, and you are too cool to see you get banned.
Yeah... I had to go back and edit my post. I wasn't nice enough to the guy for calling me a troll/idiot.
But hey, at least I'll sleep better tonight knowing he threw his $1500 offer into the shredder.
I got another anger management meeting tomorrow after work too... *sigh*
Just noticed you gave him kudos for his post... Amazing considering you did the same to my reply. Is the popcorn done? LOL
Darn, I missed the kerfuffle.
Thank you for proving my point. You read the OP., yes I know what that means, so you should already know I have an existing relationship. Right there in the paragraph I posted. Never said you were an adolescent, said the phrase you used was. We call that an adjective. And it is. Don't understand your point, or you use of quotation marks or why you posted what you did. It has nothing to do with the original post. And if you understand irony you understand I was not posting in a bragging way of a 1500 cl. It was ironic because I have three cls at or in excess of $30K. So, why would I go for it? Hence the shredder. This is a site to help one another so it is difficult for me to understand your hostile response. Don't get that here much. We don't like trolls.

You missed the excitement in an otherwise dull thread. Compared to what goes on over on the Apple fanboi forums it wasn't much of anything.
Maybe I'm naive but I love Capital One. The card has really grown with me since my journey to rebuild. It has gone from 300 to 3,000 without getting the EO involved. I'm sure that for people with 35k limits, this means nothing.....but when it comes to giving people looking to rebuild a leg to stand on, I would say Capital One is top of the line.

Yeah you were... you even used the...
@DrJim wrote:I receive preapprovals from Capital One almost daily. I am not exaggerating, almost daily. I opted out years ago, but at one time my wife got a Capital One card in my name. Today I recieved a preapproval for,...drumroll please...$1,500! As you can see from my siggy below, I sent it to the shredder. Last opened account was over two years ago. Last credit card was 4-5 years ago. In. The. Garden.
which means you pointed out your sig so your post definitely qualifies as a cool story, bro.
Nobody is trolling here pal. My bad for missing the line about your wife getting a card in your name... I guess that was the pre existing relationship you were talking about.
If you can give me the 15 minutes of my life back that I wasted on your thread I'd appreciate it.
This forum never disappoints.

I did forget one thing though...
Congrats OP! May you have continued success in the world of credit cards!
