Credit Card Verification with Chase-Before or After Approved

I applied for the Chase Freedom and Chase SouthWest cards recently.  I received the 7-10 days review message on both.  The southwest card sent me a e-mail the other day to welcome me (it has the last 4 of my card #) and to look out for the new card.  Do you think the Freedom card is being held up because of verification since I applied for both at same time? It's weird that the Southwest card didn't or does it occur after you get the card?

Have you called the application statue # to check on the Freedom?

Freedom might have been denied. As poster above suggested, check the status line.

Patrick, please don't derail the original post.  You need to start a thread of your own. And try to ask all the questions in one post.  Thank you.
