Update on Inquiries:
EQ 122 Inq
AAOA 3yr 2m
22% UTI
Ex 98 Inq
AAOA 3yr 2m
22% UTI
TU 36 Inq
AAOA 3yr 5m
22% UTI
UTI will go down once Navy posts my CLI to the Bureaus. Anybody got this many Inquiries or higher. Record setting here. lol.
I guess this goes under Applications since an Inquiry is produced by an application.
Way over 40. A few bank cards at first then about 40 store cards. I was just building credit and using the store cards as UTI. Now I have only 1 store card and 1 gas card, the rest is all bank cards. I've closed out a bunch of cards in the last few months. Now that I've built up my credit I no longer need them.. I'll prob weed out a few bank cards as I continue to gain steam. Basically replace high APR's for Lower APR's.
Anybody know which Bank Cards will only pull Transunion?

From what I understand, at some point between 8 and 14 inquiries on any single bureau you no longer get penalized for additional inquiries score wise. Under a manual review of course it will look less favorable to have more, but at least it doesn't impact your scores.
OP, out of curiosity, how many of those inquiries per bureau are scoreable... that is, within the last year?
Brutal, I've rolled off at least 30 so far this year. Yea you are correct tho. As far as scoring it's not having an impact. As a report confirmed, Inquiries played a part but effect was not significant.
When I was approved with Suncoast they asked why so many inquiries, and I advised APR shopping.
Holy Cow, that's a lot of inquiries! The information that the negative impact drops off at a certain amount is good to know; it will NOT, however, assist me in my struggles to not fill out applications...
