So sorry if this was ask before but can't seem to find the answer. When you are asking for a Credit Limit Increase, do you have to unlock all your Credit Report? Can they do a SP if it is locked? Thanks in advance.
To both questions it depends on the bank honestly. Some banks require a hardpull for a credit limit increase so having them locked is not an option. Other banks perform soft pull increases but even then might ask you to unlock your credit reports before they review your CLI request. Weird but that's just the way they roll. Just depends on the bank really so YMMV

@blazereinI never unlock my reports for a CLI. I will accept a HP for a new account but not one for an account I already have. Especially when I see they all do account reviews soft pulls.
Ones I have requested last year and this year with accounts locked include:
Cap1
Sync (2 cards)
Comenity (1 card)
All approved by soft pulls.
Thanks for all the info: Here are the bank(s) I was talking about.
Cap1
Sync
Comenity

Based on a variety of DPs with locked CRs, SYNCB needs to be thawed to request the SP CLIs. I believe the others can be processed with locked reports. I'm sure other members can confirm.
