When to App for Amex Revolver

I opened an Amex Plat in mid-august, and I have my eye on one of their revolving credit cards. How long should I wait until I apply for an other account, or do you think it'd be okay to app now ?

It's hard to say without more DPs. What is your relationship with AMEX beside the Platinum?

Current scores? 

There is really no specific time for how long to wait before applying for another card, and no condition that says anyone needs an AMEX charge card before qualifying for a revolver.

You're okay to apply now as long as your EX credit score is there and don't already carry a number of revolvers already with AMEX. The app rules are different between charge and revolver cards. For instance, ff you had liked you could have done so the same day you applied for the Platinum card

I'm honestly surprised considering your EX score. Do you already carry any revolvers with AMEX?

I was also going to app for a plum card but I think I'll just wait another 4-6 mo's to see if whatever is spooking them is gone by then. My reports are perfect.

@n777ua Just curious, anything that interests you about hte Plum card? Seems like a pretty boring card.

I would wait 3-4 more months and put a good amount of spend ($500-$1000 a month) on the platinum card, You need to show them you can spend money and pay it off.
