Yes, I know. But Credit One was my original rebuilding card. Now that I'm replacing some starter cards, it's time to make the call to Credit One to threaten to close it.
I'll be requesting to have the AF waived, and also higher CL in order for me to consider keeping it. My question is, are their CLI requests HP or SP? I'm not taking a HP from them regardless of the outcome.
Thank you!
You can request a CLI via their automated system and it's been a soft pull for me when I did request.

@Anonymous, It is my understanding by reading the forums, if you call to close it ..
They will often waive the AF and offer a CLI .. just remember in all things credit YMMV.
CLI was a hp for me about 5 months ago. I called to close it last month. They offered to waive the AF, and bring the interest rate to 1.97%
Yes, 1.97%. I gave her a big NOPE and closed it. Tread carefully.
IIRC, if you request and are granted a CLI there is like a 20% of the CLI charged as a fee. Keep that in mind when you are talking to them
