@Anonymous wrote:Why don't you call up Citi and see if they have any 0% purchase offers for you. Sometimes this works. I know i've done it in the past with a card, I just don't rememberif it was my Citi or Amex and last year I did it on BOA for a BT I called and asked do I have any BT options at 0%, they said yes and I did it over the phone. Unless you want a new card, just giving you another option to go with.
That is a great suggestion I will give it a go, I never even thought of that (Doh) I will also ask them about the possibility of owning two Simplicity accounts.
It seems that too often these companies are more into new accounts, new customers rather than retaining current accounts.
@Anonymous wrote:It really depends on how long you need to pay it off. The Wells Fargo Cash Wise card might be good for you. It has 0% APR for 15 months and 1.5% cash back, or there is the bankamericard cash rewards card. Both of those might fit your needs as well.
Never done business with WF. Do you need to be a banking customer to get one of their cards?
No you don't have to be a banking customer to get one of their cards, but you do have to have a relationship with Wells Fargo to do an application online. Wells Fargo can be really great, just have pretty straight forward offers for credit cards, which is nice in some ways. If you don't bank with them they might not be the best offier. I dont know where you bank, but they might offer a card to fit your need.
What about the Discover Miles card? It is 1.5% CB doubled after 1 year and 0% for 12 months on purchases. Discover lets you have two cards assuming the first has been open at least 1 year. Another possible option might be Cap1 QS. It is only 1.5% CB with 9 months 0% APR, but they may give a higher SL. If you search you might find better sign up offers, I don't keep up with the best offers.
