Some of them still isue Gold Mastercard or Visa like RBFCU. I still have RBFCU Cash Back Mastercard. They haven't offered me an upgrade to Platinum. I think it is up to the banks or credit union. I thin Penfed still have Gold Visa with no rewards.

Interesting.  I have not seen one of them from a regular bank in years.  Have either of you tried BMO Harris?  I'm outside of their footprint.  I called last night to see if I could apply.  I guess the only apps they had open nationwide was Diners

I haven't tried it. I am not on the banking areas. I closed my Diners Club Charge a few months ago. I rarely used mine.

I've tried to steer clear of those that make you wait for a decision.  The wait just kills me.  US Bank has to be the worst for me.  Oh I take that back.  That honor belongs to BBVA

I would say Hobby Lobby Visa Signature Card instead of the other one. We don't know too much on the other one.

Do you know anything about Bank of Hawaii?  Is that a partnership with Barclays?

They do instant decisions but on creditpulls it list Barclays from back in 2013
