Credit inquiry question

So im looking to apply for the CSP right now my FICO scores are between 675- 707, income is at 80k, aaoa is 2 years (because i just got approved for a AMEX PRG) no baddies, the kicker is that my util is showing at 45% (out of 37k total credit) however i have been paying it down and it should be around 39%. I just checked my experian and equifax credit scores and they were both just updated this week but are still reporting at 45% however with my math i know that im at 39% so my question is when i apply for the card will the report show the last overall report or does it pull a real time report ( as in my credit at the time of apping) ..

also side note if i got approved for AMEX PRG should i be good for a CSP

Re: Credit inquiry question

i have but i guess at some point i opted out of those things so it says that i have to go through a whole set of steps in order to be able to check my prequals again. i mainly just want to know if anyone knows which credit report will get pulled like just the last updated one or will a new one be pulled the day of.

A new report will be pulled but that doesn't mean it will show the lower utilization.  That only will happen after the creditors report it to the credit bureaus and they internally update.  Realistically though a 39% vs 45% utilization will make very little difference.  You should get it down below 10% for the best odds in being approved.

Re: Credit inquiry question

gotcha, i know the util wont really be doing much until i get it to under 30 and such but the thing is right now i just wanna pull the trigger on it because i need to book my honeymoon sooner rather than later so prices dont go up/ its no longer available. i know by the end of the year after the wedding and everything and after the honeymoon all credit cards will have been paid off in full if not ill be at just around 5% its just that we have had a bunch of expenses for the wedding. but i appreciate the feedback
