Hello Everyone and thanks for taking the time out to read this. I have had capital one for about 4 years now and im not going to lie that have been quite good with me. However I wanted a better credit line then just $3,750 on three master cards that I have with them. So I gave a call on 2/4/15 (Wednesday) and used the Executive office method to achieve what I needed to get. The lady who I talked to was really nice and asked me information about my income and expenses and I answered. I Have excellent credit and have been checking my online account yet nothing has been updated nor have I seen any increase in my credit line. Does anyone know how long it usually takes to hear back. She had stated she will get back to me by next tuesday however she said you might see the update faster then that using your online banking. If anyone has had any experience please share. Thank You
another question I signed up chase freedom cc, it got add an authorized user and get 25 bucks. Thinking about adding myself but with middle name instead of first name, do you guys think it's commonly done or it's not legit and don't do it. IF they find out will it be reported to my credit report? oh yeah also adding an authorized user is it hard pull or soft pull? tahnks

Yes, AU are reported with Chase.
Yes, it's unwise and they may consider it a reason to shut your card down. Obtaining points/bonus based on misrepresentation ie fraud is a big no no.
Capital One always does soft pulls, though without prodding it seems they aren't the most likely to give out increases.
Case and point, come April my Cap One card will be 11 years old. It's still at it's original $500, I never asked, they never gave. Which is funny as I have over 21k between two other cards, another of which I opened at the same time and over the years went from $500 to $18,500 without my ever requesting (looking at you, Bank of America). In any case, I reached out to the EO and was kindly told that it'll take 7-10 days for manual underwriting. Be patient with them, they seem more than willing to help once you get a live human on your side.
Will update when I hear back.

Could someone provide me with the EO contact for Capital One? I put in a request for a CLI and got the "2-3 days" message. Thanks!
Why not wait the 2-3 days? Contacting any lender's EO should be done after you have received a response.

Because 2-3 day message with cap1 is denied... Cli done online are instant or denied!
That might be true of Cap 1, my point was for contacting the EO without knowing a reason for the denial.
Nothing wrong with having information in hopes to overturn a decision.
The solution for all who are not getting the CLI's they'd like from Cap One.:
