When you apply for credit cards to compare rates and rewards, does it look like individual hard pulls? When I applied for auto loans they had mentioned that if I apply for multiple loans to compare rates that they wouldn't ding my report multiple times, and I was wondering if that applied to credit cards as well?

No it does not.
Each time you apply for a credit card a HP is done unless the application says otherwise. There are some instances when a credit application is a SP. Make sure to read the application carefully before submitted it.
You don't need to apply for a credit card to compare rates and rewards. Sometimes preapproval apps come with a set APR. Or you can do research on the card beforehand and you will usually find a range or specific APR and rewards listed for the credit card. Hope this helps. Good luck!!!

You may need to rephrase your question, unsure of what you are asking.
