those two cards, anyone using this forum could've told you that, because they are building/rebuilding cards.
CK is definitely a hit or miss for lots of folks, so I agree with RedMiniStapler and others. In fact, they also recommended me with CCs I already had. I equate these CK recommendations almost as if going to the fair. You're confident and aim to score the gigantic teddy bear, but in the end after all your tokens are gone, you end up with one or two small stuffed animals (if at all).
If you do not feel positive and that your credit history and score is not quite up to par, then why are so many people still applying for cards they don't truly NEED??? Then they get denied and blame it on the CCC, or an afiliate that recommended the credit card......SMH.
Lots of people here still apparently have issues, and I bet quite a few of them will eventually fall to the credit black hole once again!!!

Yeah, I had only 2 cards back then, 1 capital one visa with 300 credit limit, and 1 discover card with 3600. Try purchase anything over 300 at places that doesn't accept Discover. In other words I truly NEEDED new cards. But go right ahead and judge, I did have finance issues back when economy tanked but it wasn't anything serious that I needed to file a bankruptcy for. I know my limits and know how to live within my means.
CK is only telling you your TU. Chase pulls EQ and EX.
IMO, CK shouldn't even be recommending Chase at all lol.

Then Chase should not be paying CK to recommend them!
Btw, I was recommended to Chase by CK and checked the pre-approval first before applying. I did not have a rewards card so I went for it. I'll never apply for any card until I have a pre-approval or once my score gets way up there.
I am just waiting for my EQ and EX to be clean (Feb 2015) before I take the Chase plunge.
My TU is 757 but the other 2 are hovering around 600.
Hoping my 10k diners will be reporting by then too ![]()

of course it does, but I think capital one is paying'em more than chase. I can't escape their recommendation of capital one quicksilver one card.
me: so let me see... which cards got good rating.
CK : oh looking for a new card? may we suggest capital one quicksilver one? you get 1.5% cash back.
me : oooh got a new alert on TU report (even though I get one from capital one)
CK : I see that you're looking at your credit alert, may we suggest capital one quicksilver one card? You'll save like 128 bucks!
me : *sneeze*
CK : Did I hear you sneeze? may we suggest capital one quicksilver? you can use it at doctor's office and get 1.5% back

Hahahah! Yes, I cannot escape the QS1 "floating" around the CK website. And the Lexington law firm for some reason pops up for me there also.
