I was recently declined for the Simplicity for too many inquires and number or derogatories. I filed a claim with Experian and got the incorrect derogatory record cleared. I saw that it was suggested that I apply for the Citi Double Cash and was declined when I applied for that just for too many inquiries. I'm guessing this is due to my recent approvals for the Discover It for $6k, CSP for $8.5k, AMEX Green Charge Card and my decline for the AMEX BCE.
I really want the AMEX BCE or EveryDay as well as the Citi Double Cash. How long should I wait to apply for the cards and what should my approach in applying for them be? Should I app for the AMEX BCE or EveryDay first or the Citi Double Cash?

I'd suggest to wait atleast six months to let those accounts age,

How many EX inquiries?
Garden for a while, then try again. 6 months minimum.

+1
6-8 months. I'd wait the 6 months, but not so long that your landlord could pull your credit again when you re-up your lease.

Have you actually had this happen? I have never had a landlord pull credit on renewal after the initial pull when moving in. I figure the 9+ months of rent history on top of the original pull is enough for them to decide. I would be upset if my landlord pulled my credit every year when I paid timely.
wait about 6-8 months minimum before reapplying. since you've had a number of recent approvals the amount of hard checks on your profile is still relatively high which is why they declined your approval. let the accounts sit in for a while and develop before you try applying for another card.
hope this helps!

Correct should be a 1 time pull but that shouldnt hurt you on getting cards not like your shooping around and have a Chase HP....
