Not so true....Barclays likes to see at the minimum 6 months of reported history on the CRA's first before they will consider you after a BK. I got them in Feb 2014, after I had 6 months of another CC reporting Everyones profile different, and my score at the time of approval was 635...

The relevant factor here might be whether you included Barclays in your filing.
Barclays might have put OP in a blacklist here.
Why are you so interested in this particular card? I got it in 2013 to buy a computer at 0% for 2 yrs, but apart from that I don't find it particularly that impressive.
I guess its not that much that I "really" wanted this account.. it was more or a way to get in with Barclays and being that everyone stated this was the easier way to get in with them after a BK.. I figured I'd give it a try and have them see that I can handle an account with them.. But I guess its just not going to happen.. Plus I do hear they have some good rewards with Apple products which I was interested in
