DISCOVER $500 CLI? BACK TO BACK CLIs?

Hi all,

I decided today to finally hit the LUV button on my discover and was approved for $500 increase w/ SP.

I'm happy it was at least approved but was expecting a bit more.

Since this increase just happened... could I try hitting the LUV button again? The link is still there...

Has anyone tried back to back CLI's with them before?

Can't see the harm in trying, but I do not see you getting another for at least 30 days, maybe 90.

If you do let us know!

BTW: I declnied twice the 500.00 increase over 2 weeks (checked once a week), and then it jumped to 1500.00 on my next weeks try.

Congrats. You can try but it more than likely wont work. I've been reading there only allowing cli every 91 days.

Thanks guys. Was just curious as I have a ton of credit atm. I will try again in 60 days and report back.

I wish I hadn't accepted the $500 and just waited. I was worried I wouldn't get an offer again.

It could also be possible your credit report changed/updated within that time causing them to increase the CLI from $500 to $1500?

I was worried also, but had read that it works often, so I tried.

No changes to reports in that time, no new card reporting, scores stayed the same, do not know why this happens, but that proved to me it will.

I am now hoping for an AUTO CLI when I hit 61/91 days with the card, that CLI was at about 45 days.

 I won't try again unless I do not get a auto increase after that 91 day mark.
