That is disappointing news for someone looking to get more gravy for their train (if this is true)
i think there are few thread proving the analyst wrong, unless discover will realize all the 1k clis they've been giving out and roll back to the original credit limit.
um, yea...I think its more like one CLI every 17 days! Thats what they are instructed to tell you, but we all know that front line reps really don't know anything on how it all works here at fico, LOL

I still find it amusing how many posters here could be better informed reps than the ones hired at these banks...
I wonder if they make decent money?!
Career paths are always opening up
How about we don't call and leave all wellness alone I hate for some inside Discover to pull the plug on the train.

There's supposedly a Discover employee among us.
even if it were true, I would think the happier the card holders are, the better. I mean take Cap one for example. There for the longest, everyone was hating them because they were soooo stingy on cli, and not helpfing the cardholders who have been loyal to them for years. Then they changed all that the last few months or so, and making card holders happy again. Its the same with Discover... a lot of folks unhappy, and then it changed for the better, as it should be. You cant treat loyal cardholders like crap for so many years....eventually they will leave and find someone who will treat them better, and give them better increases on their cards. I think its awesome these two companies are finally doing to improve consumer relations, about time actually!
