Target CLI???

Hey all, I've had my Target card since about November 2014, with a starting balance of $200 and they recently gave me an auto CLI to $500 (back in April I think) - do you guys think I am good to ask for a CLI? Has anyone had luck with Target CLIs? I hear horror stories sometimes. Thanks!

You can ask, but if it's granted you'd be lucky.

Some have never recieved an auto CLI (a few have 20 year old accounts!) myself included, but i've only had the card since 10/2013. They just this week offerred to review my account for CLI consideration.

Target doesn’t entertain customer requests for CLIs.  If you call to request an increase, the CSR will ask you to update your income information to be included in the monthly review of accounts.

Many have reported having a message on the Target website when they log into their Redcard account to update their income information recently.  You may want to log in to see if you also have the message.  Then you can update online and save yourself a phone call.

Thanks for the insight! I did just go in and update my income, so hopefully soenthing good will happen

I've heard they don't really care about customer-requested CLIs, but I wanted to treble-confirm lol
