Describe a crud limit, lol.
I think they gave me personally a very decent limit considering my EQ sucked (And still does) at the time of app.
LOL crud limit = like 1500 vs 5000 cl on your other cards.. I do understand though as there is two reasons I won't apply for the Discover card... 1) My EQ score is very close to your and don't want a low CL.. 2) It basically is the same as the freedom in my opinion.. So freedom w/4k CL > discover where I might get a 1500 CL... Wasn't meant to insult you Nixon... I just don't see the value in the card myself and depending on how much POPA plans on BT'ing it might not give him big enough limit is all.
I just think the Slate is a better bet or even Barclays...

If Chase likes you then I'm sure Slate would be a good BT card. Everybody's always recommending it as the best, but Chase isn't so fond of some of us & I wish I knew why. Personally I can get approved, but can never get a CLI from them without an HP.
Yeah but ... Barclay's likes you
That they do, and I like Barclays right back. I guess I shouldn't complain so much about Chase. It's just that every other card vendor has always been good, sometimes amazingly good, about giving me strong CLs for my income and good CLIs. I'd love to know why Chase gives me the red headed stepchild treatment.
Sorry for the thread hijack.

$1,800 CL with a 637 EQ FICO is pretty decent, Id say.
I had higher FICO than that upon getting my It card, which I remember being an instant approval and my third card back then. How ironic.
Does anyone here know how BB&T is with their approvals. I see they have a BB&T bright card with a 0 intro APR meant for BTs. I know they pull EQ and I've had a checking account with them since around April 2013.

BB&T pulls EQ.
When the wife applied for a BB&T card, they came back with a 598 on a scale of 250 to 900 when her FICO 08 was 684.
Would not apply again and relationships don't matter to them. We moved our DD's to Chase over that BS.

Oh God. That card is out of the question then. They sound even worse than WF.
DCU just posted a January promo for Zero transfer fee, Zero APR through July - I know that's not a long time, but I don't know how you can beat the zero/zero even if it's only 6 months.

Good to know. I got something pending with them right now but trying to get a hold of someone is a pain. I'm not even sure if they pulled anything at all.

They really seem to be. The worst part about it is, our personal banker tried to get it reconsidered and they wouldn't even give it a second look. I am not sure what kind of kooky scoring they use, but whatever it is, it's way off.
