Decided to fill a few apps out, waiting for review

Well in the past few months I've watch all three of my scores climb to 770 despite my AAOA being lower than most.  Having some expenses coming up soon I figured I'd get some of my apps out before that hit my util.

Ex: 770 inq 7  Eq:772 inq 2  Tu:768 inq 7.  AAOA 1 year (oldest 2.8 years)

Only one new account in past 6 months (penfed thrifty)

income is lower at 35k unfortunately

Freedom $200 bonus caught my eye and I jumped on it.  First time I have been met with a 7-10 message from chase.  Called automated number and assume it's a denial but still says review.

For Penfed I was going back and forth between PLOC and the promise card.  Ended up aping for promise but may try for PLOC too if approved.  Currently reviewing by loan officer.

Part of me wants to app for one more just to age it off with these inq although I should probably wait.  Maybe try and raise my Ploc limit with my local bank.  Was also thinking venture purely for util. padding.

Venture will probably give you a higher CL to start than most other's. At least that's been the case for alot of us. I've got a QS 5K and a Chase Slate 5500, appd for Venture and received 20K CL. Cap One is AWESOME. I'd say go to the Cap One prequal webpage and see what comes up. Seems to be pretty accurate. Let us know what you decide.

Penfed turned me down.

Chase automated line is saying review 7-10 days so I think that's a denial too.

I'm showing a prequal for all cap1 cards but I'm not sure if I feel like taking a triple pull on top of these.

Is Cap1 100% of the time a triple-pull?

Yes. Almost guaranteed to pull all 3 CA's. Some have frozen one of their CR's, but some have been declined, and they believe that was the reason. But others have said they were approved with one frozen. So if you're going to go for it and apply with Cap One, I'd expect all 3 CR's to be pulled. If you're showing prequalified on Cap One, I'd go for both card's, QS or QS1 and Venture or Venture 1. The QS and Venture are the most desirable.

Go for Cap One too!  I bet you'll be approved.  Smiley Very Happy  Great padding and I love the card.

Apped for venture and was approved, didn't give me limit or apr but prequal said 17.99. I guess we'll see once it shows up.

Thanks for helping me with my bad self control guys haha. Now to let these inq go away and reach the 800s!
