Delta gold

I’m going to apply for the the delta gold Amex. It has 50k sub and 100$ on 1k spend in 3 months.
My question is if I do the application in incog mode for higher sub will it be a hp? Bc it’s asking for all of my information. Also, can you do A referral code on incognito as well?

I want the Amex rose gold. But I only qualify for all of amex revolvers. No pre approval offers for charge . Should I hold out?
Delta is good for my travel. First year af is waived but if in a few months I qualify for the rose gold I don’t want to pay annual fees in multiple cards.
I’m doing some major travel in the upcoming months so I do have use for a travel card.

Re: Delta gold

If you don't have a card with AMEX already it will be a HP, I'm not sure been in incognito mode would have any effect either way.

I would go ahead and get the card and let that start building you a history with AMEX, the rose gold when you become eligible will then only be a SP.

Re: Delta gold

I already have an amex card. When I go through the Amex website it only offers the card with a 30k sub but in incognito it offers it with 50k.

Re: Delta gold

I chose to go with Amex rose gold over Amex Delta Gold. Had two great offers on both. 50k bonus on $2k spend in 3 months on the Amex Rose Gold card. On Delta Gold, I got an offer for 75k bonus miles, first 50k on $2k spend in the first 3 months and then additional 25k on $1k spend in the first 6 months.

Chose to go with the Amex Rose Gold since the Rose Gold card option is only available through Jan 2019. Let me know if you want a referral. I’ve seen similar 75k miles offers on Delta a few other times in the past, and the Delta Platinum is better than Delta Gold since you earn a free companion pass with the $195 annual fee, but AF is not waived in the first year. In reality, Delta Gold’s only benefit is free check bags and Zone 1 boarding which is not worth very much.
