I was denied a CLI request on my Apple Card; GS provided the following response:
My previous CLI to $15000 was 13 months ago whereby my TU was 1/6, 2/12 and 2/24 as of Jan 2023.
Last week, my TU was at: 2/6, 4/12 and 5/24. Don't know if the 2/6 would trigger the denial, but my 4/12 probably did.
Bummer . They seem to be very strange . I haven't had an increase in well over a year . If I put some spend on it I get denied for inquires . If I don't spend a lot , I get denied for not using card enough . I just about give up with them 🙄

Sorry you weren't approved.
Hmmm...I put a few hundred a month on mine and I asked for a increase last month (it had been 6 months since my last request), and they bumped me from 11K to 16K.
I've found they're a bit like Synchrony...you never know what you're going to get. Put minimal spend, get an increase. Max your limit and PIF, sorry, denied.

When exactly is that Android card coming out?

Apple users need a credit card since they pay more for everything from apps to hardware.
Gotta give it up to apple, Tesla, and Amex though for being able to market themselves as status symbols.

- Multiple recent HP applications on TU.

Slightly different scenario but I was recently approved for an apple card( didn't take the offer). I have been trying to apply for the card the past few years and was only ever approved once before. The pattern that I noticed in both cases was that I was either 1/6 (first time) and now 0/6 for inquiries on TU. And I was 5/12 and 6/12 respectively in both cases. Since you're already an acct holder, I suppose the threshold for cli's now could be inn the 2-3 range...my own supposition w/o dp's

My other recreational mobile is a Motorola. I have been using Android and IOS so long that both are second nature to me.
To date me, I still miss the Palm OS.
