Denied CLI Walmart

I tried getting a CLI on My 9 month old Walmart card, Currently at $4000.Asked for $10,000 denied with no counter. Does Credit solutions and chat have basically the same information, and outcome? Meaning if I wanted to try again, could I go and apply with Credit solutions tonight? Or do you think it's best to wait it out? The reason I wanted to get an increase was because I have a $900 no interest balance on there until February 2017. Obviously that's pretty high utilization but at 0% I'm not caring as much as I should. Walmart is my oldest and lowest Synchrony card. Thanks guys! Edited to throw in my Transunion score-706

Re: Denied CLI Walmart

Always always try credit solutions forget about chats and CS

Good luck

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Talking about "obsessive"... I had Walmart card for about 7 months now, tried online luv button multiple times, nada. In fact it would give me some weird message like "your account is ineligible right now". Followed advices from other forum members by calling Credit Solutions, nada, zero. Nothing to lose, few days ago tried chat option, guess what... from 1k to 3500. Go figure Smiley Happy

I would say try chat again...Smiley Happy

Re: Denied CLI Walmart

Walmart doesn't seem to work like other Sync accounts.  They don't tend to be the ones who will issue a CLI every 30 or 60 days.  How long have you had the account?  Seems like 4+ months is the theme with them.  You'll eventually start getting the "insufficient experience at your current limit" letters.

I just got a CLI but now it keeps saying "insufficient experience at your current limit", so should I wait 30 days or what to request for another one?

Re: Denied CLI Walmart

Unless your TU score jumps drastically, you could get that letter for months on it. It's not uncommon if you take a look around the forums for a person to be stuck with a Walmart limit for upwards of 8-12 months...sometimes longer.

Re: Denied CLI Walmart

I did my CLI through chat.

I only have had my card for 2 months, and I started at $800, and now it's at $6,000. My TU score is 670.
