Denied Navyfcu CC

The scores im my sig are accurate by two or three points up or down. I listed my income last year, which was 12,000. They don't like my income.

Huh, that's interesting. Your income is the only thing I can think of. It's even more interesting because other lenders have given you credit. Is there anything of note on your CR?

Nope. I just applied for a chase freedom 5 minutes ago literally. Instant approval $2,500 limit.

For Navy it's not a high enough income for them. Just beware, you're getting some good limits, but repaying those limits will be tough with said income at this time. Protect your credit and you'll be more than great when you're older and have considerably more income. At least you are in with navy now (membership.) I'm sure with a higher income you'll have no trouble getting a monstrous approval from them down the line.

Re: Denied Navyfcu CC

I agree, down the line they will be my provider for loans/ccs with ease and I'll currently use them for all of my despoits. I always keep my utilization at 1-3% rotating cards every use. I am quite annoyed about the hard inquires I took, but it will probably be worth it down the line to show history in a checking.

I'd recon it for sure, they already said no, you already took the HP, are they going to double secret super deny you Smiley Wink  They approved me for their NavCheck at 6k but denied my goRewards.  I was able to recon the goRewards to atleast $500.  I'm hoping I'll be able to get a nice CLI, maybe to match the 10k my wife and I have on our cashRewards after the 3rd statement cuts.

Re: Denied Navyfcu CC

I was told by three separate customer service members reconsiterations don't exist at navyfcu. I don't see how and I sent an online inquiry requesting the lowest limit on the card while pleading my case logically.

Well, the good news for you is that here at myFICO forums we know that's not true!

Recons happen all the time with NFCU.  I think the best method is via SM but maybe CreditAddict will chime in.

Re: Denied Navyfcu CC

That's what I'm saying, three seperate costumer service specilists told me I could reapply and not recon, as they don't have a recon policy. I searched the forums and most if not all recons happen on the secure message system on ones account so I sent an appeal through there.
