I've seen people get denied trying to PC from a USAA Visa to a USAA Amex or vice versa.
I thought I might have better luck going from Amex (USAA Rewards) to Amex (USAA Cashback Rewards Plus) for the 5% cash back on gas.
And if not, no big deal. It was only a 5 minute call. And I have another card (Chase Amazon) that's getting 5% on gas and yet another card giving me 4.25% once that promo ends.
But nope, I got denied for that PC too. The rep I spoke to said I would have to close my old card down and open a new one. Kinda defeats the purpose since I wanted to keep the 10+ year history and the good CL they've given me.
Oh well.
USAA doesn't allow for PCs for any of their cards.
