I'll probably just never waste my time with them again. My spouse got a card but not before they incompetently double pulled him with Experian and Transunion (both twice) because there's like 16 different departments you have to talk with if you have a fraud alert.
If you have the fraud alert they hard pull then decline you and then you have to get the letter, call another department, within 30 days, and it had been like 32 or something.
Applications expire after 30 days. That is by law since the lender must answer in that time period. They rightfully gave your spouse a second HP for sitting around and waiting as they had to put a second application in.
In 2008 I inherited two BOA accounts when my mom passed away. I went into the branch and converted the accounts into my name. The vast majority of the money was in savings the rest in checking. At that time because the accounts were llinked no fees in theory. For 5 months the rebated me the monthly fee and the phone CSRs told me the it was fixed each time. By month 6 I closed the accounts. I put the money into Mom"s trust and the money was distributed the to beneficiaries of the trust. I will never bank with with them again. If ever I decide to not bank with credit union it will be with a 4 branch bank Mission Vallley Bank.
