Dillards card through Wells Fargo

What all are they looking at for approval?  I saw doing a Google search that you need a 640 credit score, which I'm well above.  However, I applied and didn't get an instant approval, which usually means it was declined.

A little background - I burned Wells Fargo in a Ch 7 in 2005.  I also have a cluster of credit inquiries that are now almost two years old.

Not sure. I got this card a little over a year ago at the register. Approved for the Amex  version with a 5700 credit line which is very low for my profile. At the time, Fico 8's were about 830.

I don't regret getting the card but it's kind of worthless. Only real advantage is getting the 10% off rewards.

This week I received a letter from WF stating that in September, the card will change to CITI and become a Mastercard. Maybe try again when this happens as CITI seems to be easier to get on with?

I was approved for a Dillards card last month, scores about where yours are, $1k limit, and some recent inquiries.  I'm about 4.5 years out of Chap 7, and I was shocked that WF actually approved me.

Earlie this week, I got a letter from WF that Citi is taking over Dillard's branded cards and I'm wondering if they will close out my account since Citi isn't very bk friendly.  Last I checked, Citi wanted at least 10 years from discharge.  I didn't burn them in the bk, but my husband did.  I'm currently sitting at zero on the Dillards account and think I'll just leave it in a drawer and see what happens.
