I kinda agree. Took me like 5 days to find out info. Because of weekend. I still don't have card yet. Hopefully this week.

So I called this morning after being told on Friday to call Saturday and then to call Monday because that's when underwriting is open and now they are telling me they are not allowed to call underwriting and have to wait for the mail.
One of the CSR's i spoke to durring my phone call filled weekend to diners said that underwriting gets in at 9am mon-fri to manually review apps that werent approved automatically. That was the last CSR i spoke to in Canada.. So, i learned from here.. and from them.. weekend calling won't work.. also, never app on a Friday for Diners.. it will take even longer to hear an answer because your app will lay dormant for the entire weekend. lesson learned lol

It's so terribly frustrating to see these things happen.. coming from a CC company that has been around for decades.. it should be a much smoother process.. yes, they had more apps than expected, but c'mon Diners! You guys STILL haven't responded to some peoples apps from early October! Regardless if the person has a 620 fico or a 810 Fico.. all apps needed to be processed orderly and timely.. all other cc issuers can do it.. so, i know you guys can too!
Well called after 9 est. time zone, to get told the same if approved you get a card in 7 days after approval or a denial letter in 30 days..

Did you try the "i'm already approved" trick? Call up.. say something like "Hi, i was approved for the card and received my pin, I just want to know the credit limit" and they just may tell you if you were approved.. It's worth a shot since nothing else is working..
