I asked Discover for a CLI to $6000 via secure message with a soft pull (figured they'd counter).
Their reply was that more info is needed and I needed to call a credit analyst during a weekday.
What does this mean? Do they want a hard pull?
This happened to me this week. It pretty much means that the soft pull they used didn't provide enough justification on giving you a CLI to the amount you want so they want to speak with an analyst who will very likely hard pull your report.
Hmm ok. I'll give them a call then.
