Does your account have to be open 6 months to initiate a request? I've had my IT almost 4 months and every time I try online it tells me that it can't be processed at this time and to call.

90 days is what they told me.
I just went to the online screen and it says it may need a hard pull from the credit .....
does this mean a hard pull will be done or have some seen this and have gotten away with a SP ?

If you are getting that message then you can not get a SP CLI . you have to call them and it will be a HP

Will that always be the case? Has anyone continued to get this message and then the online request eventually work? Say after 6 months or a year?
My online luv button always tells me that I have to call (Your credit limit increase request cannot be processed at this time). I think Discover hates me. And I don't know what I did to them to make them hate me. ![]()

This thread is a great example of one of the many reasons i dislike Discover. People in this thread are stating "at least they tell you if it will be a hp". the way i see this is discover will not increase your credit line so you are settling for whatever they happen to give. I have heard numerous people use the excuse that Discover is conservative, they are not conservative they are nonsensical. i have taken 2 hp cli's for $250 each. Discover gets absolutely no use from me anymore and will likely never see the light of day again. Make a point of reading post on discover cli's and compare it to other lenders....discover will seem worse the more you compare
