My FICO score on Discover.com shows scores from 10/13 and 11/13. Nothing updated for 12/13 or at all this month. My scores have all increased substantially since 11/13. I went from 99% Util down to around 12%. When I check my reports I see that they SP TU and EQ on 12/3 and 12/10 respectively. So my question is if I hit the CLI button, will they use the outdated score that I see on their site when I check, or will they use the scores from their most recent SP according to my reports? I'm itching to hit that button! Please advise! Thanks.
curious about this question too. i thought you could request an increase after 6 months but so far, Discover says I can't.

I believe the 6 month cli request was pre-pandemic.
It appears to be a consensus as of now that Discover will only consider a cli for new accounts that age a year.
I opened my discover card in October of this year and I was chatting with an agent about something else but then I did ask when I'm able to request a CLI (just for future reference) and they confirmed that after the account has hit 1 year of age. So new accts are def 12 months now 😫

Mines just hit 1 year so I'm waiting on my matching cashback payout. They say I should get it on Dec19th. Fingers crossed for an auto increase along with it.
Gonna wait awhile before I request one. Only put about an average monthly spend of 50% of initial credit line since I've had it.

Mine updates 5 days after the TU pull. They pull my report on the 10th of every month, and I am able to view the updated report on Disco's website/app on the 15th. Idk if this is standard procedure for everyone, or if this is a YMMV situation. If it's standard and they pull your report on the 13th, then in theory you should be able to view it on the 18th. HOWEVER, this is Disco, so if you get overzealous and smash the luv button early and they say "No Disco luv for you," it doesn't matter. Just wait another couple of weeks or a month and hit it again. I'd wait 2 days, see if it updates. If it does, request the CLI. If it doesn't, request the CLI anyway. Good luck and let us know how it pans out!
I would wait until you see the update on your account with the new Fico score. This way you know that they'll be using that for your CLI request, where if you request early perhaps they are still using your old data.
You'll have to wait 12 months from account opening - 1st day of 13th month to be exact. Let's hope they loosen up that policy before your one year.
I opened mine Jan, so I'm almost there! Every time I contact them about something else I ask if CLI policy has changed, and it's always nope. This last specialist did sound very encouraging though. Said things like my limit is low "for now," and I'm eligible soon, etc. I plan to ask for 10K

Since when did this become a thing? I'm quite sure I've read about plenty of people reporting CLIs very early on with their accounts, certainly less than 1 year.

It's their policy since the pandemic hit. I'd say they implemented that maybe 6-8 months or so ago now, unfortunately.
