Discover CLI Request Denied

So, it's 91 days.  I decided to hit that CLI link, hoping that Disco would give me some love.  They snubbed me, telling me that I was unable to get a credit line increase at this time and I will get my letter in 3 to 5 days explaining why.  I am so disappointed!  Well...I guess I'll wait for the next 91 days...?

Sorry to hear about the CLI denial OP. I wouldn't loose hope yet, sometimes there is a lag in their accounts review. Based on my own personal experience, the first ever CLI that Disco has approved me for was a week after my third statement cut. So I'd wait about a week and if you did not receive any auto increase, just request for another one. Discover is also a weird lender which I'm sure you've read about a zillion times here.  Your Discover will grow. It's just a patience game with them. But your limit will get there.

OP—Don’t worry too much about it. I got my Disco in January and didn’t get my first CLI until around May. The first couple of requests were denied. Since then I’ve gotten a couple of double-dips and a single CLI and gone from SL of $11K to current $14K. You’ll get there!

I’ll chime in as well as say the others are correct. I received my first CLI on my Discover It Miles after my fourth statement was cut. So don’t worry about it. You’ll definitely get there and may not need to wait an additional 90 plus days.
