Hi all,
I got my Chase FU approved yesterday with a huge limit for what's on my file. It's more than twice the sum of credit I have on the other two cards. Now I want to ask for CLI from discover. It's definitely been more than 90 days since my past auto CLI.
Now, I've heard that Chase might cancel your new credit card account if they realized that you applied for many others at the same time, even after approval. I do not want to risk that. Granted, discover CLI is a soft pull, but if it increased Chase will see it. Will I be taking a risk by asking for CLI?
Data:
Discover IT (started with secured, graduated last month): 2k, 10 months (1k- > 2k auto CLI 4 months ago)
BOA travel rewards: 1.5k, 2 months
Nothing on file apart from that, no late payments, util ~10%, PIF every month (multiple times per month usually), TU 719 and others should be similar.
What are my chances?
Thanks!
I highly doubt it. You'd have to go on a CLI spree before they start thinking credit seeking behavior.
Getting CLIs is not what spooks Chase. It's applying for too many accounts in a short period of time.
Go for it. Ask Disco for a CLI.

Thank you all! I will go ask and keep y'all updated!
Oops, denied. Oh well, I just want it, but don't need it. We'll see what happens after another 3 months!
