Does it matter for CLI if I have disco as my highest card at $1200 or if I wait a month for boa to report a $6000 card?
I have no TU score (should be another month or so). 751 exp score. What happens if i ask for a CLI? It's been 91 days today. What does it depend on if they SP or HP you? Or is it HP every time on CLI? Can I ask them on the phone in a certain way to check the exp? Also I just got a new card for 6k from BOA but its not reporting yet - is there any way for Discover to see this card/any other way to use this to my advantage without waiting for it to report. My disco was with lower scores, 2nd card overall, $1200 - I am looking for 4-5k bump - whats realistic with Disco?
The preferred way to get a Discover CLI is to login to your online account, go to Manage > Credit Line Increase and fill out the requested information. The system will tell you if they need to do a hard pull and you can decide at that point whether or not to authorize the hard pull. If it doesn't require a hard pull it will make you a CLI offer and you can then choose to accept or reject the offer.
