@Anonymous wrote:You can definitely call but hitting the button online first before calling might get you more.
Try this...
- Discover.com -- login as usual
- (Optional if you have multiple accounts) -- click your credit card account
- On top menu bar, click "Manage" drop down
- On the drop down under "Credit Options" click "Credit Line Increase"
- Enter data on new page, hit submit.
Okay, done - the whole thing comes tumbling down on having to put in your assets (at least for me); we shall see -_-
$500 CLI approved: woot!
Did you follow ABCD's advice and call back and do a double dip asking for more -- you may get another $500. But that must be done the same day. Sure hope you took advantage of the DD. If not, try the CLI button again in 6 months.
Congrats on the increase.
UPDATE: I just called, thanks to your post for putting it in my mind, and I the double-dip was a success! I'm now at $2,500 for Discover!!!! Thank you!!

WooHoo WooHoo!!!!! That's the way to do it. A huge congratulations to you and a thank you to ABCD for the reminder to call after an instant approval -- it's the best way to get a nice CLI -- the double dipping.
Congrats on the CLI!
I don't mean to hijack thread, but I'd rather ask here than to make a topic.
Is Discover very clear when they need a HP for CLI? Is there a wording to watch out for? Thanks in advance!

Congrats! Curious on the double dip call, do you speak to a rep or do it via a RoboLady on the automated line? If to an actual person, do you mention you recieved a CLI earlier and would like more or just pretend like this is your first request of the day?

When you click on the Request CLI button, before hitting submit, the following statement is present:
"After reviewing your application, we may need to pull a credit bureau report, which may affect your credit score. In these cases, we will proceed with the application only with your consent."
So, it's only a HP if Disco needs to pull a report.
