Discover Cli should I pull the trigger ?

Only have had the card for like 4 months the current cl is 1k it has a 240 balance that can be paid off today if necessary should I do it with a balance of no balance ? Or should I wait for the 6 month mark , maybe a year mark ?

If you can take one without a HP then go for it! You can try online and it will not allow you if it is not available. My online never seemed available but my attempt when I called the phone number on the back of the card (whatever prompt it was) eventually let me try at about 8 months. But others have had success at 3 months. Discover likes heavy usage, IMHO. YMMV

Yes. i got my first increase at the 90 day mark and yes. i was carrying a balance at the time. because of the BT and 14 month no apr. promo. too bad. i only got 500. as they were tight. but others got 250. so im grateful. i will try again in a couple of weeks which will be 6 months. good luck.
